Salary: £22,080 - £24,804 pro rata (£11,935 actual)
20 hours per week (4 hours per day)

An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Council’s Corporate Property Team. Working with a small yet dynamic team managing the council’s property portfolio, your primary focus will be ensuring the provision of soft facilities management services to the occupants of council buildings, including AVDC staff to tenants.

Your day will be varied, dealing with anything from security, building and fire alarms,  through to general building support including porterage and deliveries.

The role is busy, and you’ll have to spend some time working on your own, so you’ll need to be self motivated and well organised with the ability to work with minimum supervision. You’ll be a keyholder for our main office and will be expected to open up the building in the mornings on a rota basis, so you’ll need to be reliable and have good time keeping for those early morning starts.

The successful candidate will have suitable demonstrable experience of working in a previous facilities management or building support role and already hold, be training for, or be willing to undergo training for technical qualifications. You will also need to hold a valid full driving licence, as you’ll be travelling between council buildings in our company van and have a sound understanding of good health and safety practices to apply to the role.
