About The Role

This role is part of the newly formed Digital Delivery Team and will be instrumental in delivering the Council’s ambitious Connected Knowledge & Connected Working programmes.

This role ensures that the data, information and service levels across integrated components provide excellent value and optimises the information architecture made up of legacy and new components.

The role will involve analysis of data flows and application integrations to identify opportunities that improve processes across the organisation. It will require the role holder to translate requirements into technical solutions that deliver an excellent end-user experience and meets the organisation’s security standards. It will be the role holder’s responsibility to automate and simplify processes that continually improve operational efficiency. Effective supplier management and provision of complex 3rd level support is also a requirement of the role.

You will have a relevant professional qualification e.g. Computer Science/ Engineering degree, or equivalent in education or experience and experience integrating SaaS, Cloud-based and on-premise applications, possibly as a Solutions Architect. You will be comfortable leading change projects including: requirements gathering, solution design, implementation and handover to support. You will have successfully executed projects in a wide range of technologies.
